Harbour-view penthouse — a calm, fully-integrated home.
A 4,200 sqft apartment spanning two floors on Hong Kong Island, designed around panoramic harbour views. We integrated lighting, climate, audio-visual, security and energy under a single keypad and app.
The brief
The client — a family of four — had lived through two previous smart-home installations that ended with half-working scenes, too many apps and constant service calls. They wanted one system, calm and reliable, integrated cleanly with a newly completed interior design.
What we delivered
- Whole-home KNX lighting with 18 scenes and circadian colour tuning across 42 zones
- Zoned HVAC with occupancy-based climate and PM2.5 filtration
- Multi-room audio in 9 zones with architectural in-ceiling speakers
- Private cinema with 4K projection and reference-grade 7.2.4 audio
- Biometric entry, 16-camera perimeter CCTV and privacy-first recording
- Fibre backbone with commercial switches and fully-redundant WiFi 6E mesh
The outcome
Six months after handover, the system has required zero service visits. The family uses the wall keypads daily — a small, telling detail. The interior designer has since referred three further projects.
